The tallest building on the old farmstead was the ‘Tabaccaia’ (tobacco barn). Selected tobacco leaves, tied in pairs and hung on long wooden poles, were placed high up and subjected to a long fire drying treatment before being transformed into famous Tuscan cigars.
Inside all the apartments in the ‘Tabaccaia’, we have left some exposed stone and brick walls, so you can fully savour the charm of this building. If you choose the ‘Tabaccaia’ for your stay, it will feel like you are travelling back in time. You will have a view as far as the eye can see of the Tuscan countryside, just as it appears in Leonardo's famous paintings.
Here there are 4 independent units located in the 4 corners.
