For Children
Children are the most welcome guests in Rigone in Chianti. At no additional cost, we can provide you with the following: cot with linen, high chair, cutlery and crockery, safety devices.
Ask at the time of booking.

Using the internet
We know how important it is to have a good internet connection. That’s why we have installed a satellite system that guarantees a stable connection throughout the property. You can surf with your laptop or smartphone, from your apartment and also from the poolside.

Heating
Each apartment has independent central heating so you can decide how and when to turn it on. You won’t be charged any additional cost for heating, but we ask that you behave as if you were at home. We’re doing our best to protect the wonderful environment that surrounds us, so please help us by not leaving the heating on when you go out or when you have the doors and windows open.

Air conditioning
Due to the climate changes of recent years, we have installed air conditioning in all our apartments. To lessen the environmental effect we have installed photovoltaic panels. We would ask you to help us too, by using the air conditioning responsibly and in a sustainable way.

Mosquito screens
All windows have a mosquito screen. We treat the large park with natural products, but you’ll certainly come across a mosquito or two.

Bedroom, bathroom and kitchen linen
On arrival you will be provided with a set of towels (face and bidet) and one shower towel per person.
You’ll find bed linen and kitchen towels in the apartment. (Beds will be made up, or course!) If you’ve decided to spend a longer holiday with us, we’ll provide you with a complete weekly change. We think this frequency is right, as this is what we do in our family.
If you would like your sheets and towels changing more often, we’ll ask you for an additional fee (please ask at reception).
If travelling by air, we thought you could do with a large pool towel – please ask for one at reception, it’s free of charge!
… a few extra words:
We would like to inform you that all our linen is treated with professional washing and sanitising systems, and it is delivered to us every week in sealed packages.
To offer you the best in hygiene, the bedspreads and shower curtains are changed at the end of each stay.

Cleaning during your stay
You’ll find the apartment clean on arrival and there will be no further cleaning. If you would like extra cleaning during your stay, please ask at reception. We’ll ask you for an additional fee.

Dishwasher
Each apartment has a dishwasher, an essential item giving you and your family more time to spend together and to enjoy your holiday to the full.

Large fridge with freezer
We don’t want you to spend your holiday at the supermarket, but relaxing! That’s why we’ve equipped all out apartments with large refrigerators suitable for families.

Microwaves
Do you want to quickly heat up some milk or frozen lasagna, just like at home? A microwave is provided for you in each apartment.

Two full bathrooms
Teenagers getting ready for a night out? No fear! Each apartment has two complete bathrooms with shower and a hairdryer.

Private outdoor spaces
Each apartment has an outdoor area equipped with table and chairs, so you can eat outside or relax while reading a book or drinking a glass of fine wine.

Satellite TV
Each apartment is equipped with a 32"/40" flat screen satellite TV.

Washing machine
In the laundry room, located next to reception, you’ll find everything you need to do your laundry. For a small fee of €2.00, a washing machine and detergent are available. In your apartment you’ll find a basket for carrying your clothes and a washing line for drying them.

Iron and ironing board
A particularly beautiful blouse that needs special care? In the laundry room you’ll also find an iron and ironing board.

Coffee
For us Italians it is a true ritual. That’s why we’ have thought to provide a variety of coffee machines so you can enjoy it just the way you like it: one for coffee Americano, a traditional Italian Moka and the more modern Nespresso.

Breakfast
With a fabulous view, what more do you need to get your day off to a good start? A breakfast fit for a king, to be enjoyed in complete relaxation under your pergola. Smoothies, fresh fruit juices, toast…? We’ll provide you with all the equipment you need to prepare it. Would you like a fresh, hot croissant or some lovely bread baked in a wood oven? Just order them at reception and pay when you check out!

For your safety
Montaione is a small quiet hamlet, but we want your holiday to be worry-free. Each of our apartments is fitted with an alarm system to ensure you sleep soundly. If you have cash or jewellery with you, please use the safety deposit box. We work with a local security company, and regular checks are carried out across the entire property throughout the night. Relax!

Swimming pool
Our large, panoramic infinity pool is our jewel in the crown. After a good swim, you can sit in the jacuzzi corner and enjoy a relaxing whirlpool. The beach entry allows you to gently enter the water and reach the deepest part gradually. For a scenic effect, we’ve built our fantastic waterfall. The little ones have a children's area, where they can play in the water in complete safety. The terracotta solarium with sunbeds and umbrellas offers enough space for relaxation. No need to rush out and ‘claim’ a sun lounger: each apartment comes with two sun loungers, two deckchairs, a small table, and its own parasol.

The play area
For children we’ve set up a play area in the shade of the olive trees, including a swing, slide and table. Large baskets with games are available to them, so you can avoid bringing bulky toys. They can have fun outdoors in a safe environment and make new friends. In reception, there is a play corner where you can borrow cards, board games, Lego, and educational toys inspired by Montessori for the little ones.

Bicycles
Do you wish to explore Tuscany by bike? Nearby you can rent mountain bikes, with everything you need to ride safely. If the Tuscan hills feel a little daunting, do what I do: get in touch with Belmonte Vacanza and rent an e-bike. The park
Our farm is located in a vast land planted with vines and olive trees. Explore it freely! Outside the farm, you’ll find numerous marked footpaths for excursions of all kinds, from the easiest trails suitable for the whole family to the most challenging routes for the more experienced walkers among you.

Panoramic Gazebo
For a coffee at the start of the day, or for an aperitif at sunset, we have thought of making this wonderful space available to you, a space in which to relax and enjoy the unique panorama that you can see only in Tuscany!

The Barbecue
There’s nothing better to end the day than with a fantastic barbecue. Large brick barbecues await you! Prepare the embers, buy the ‘Fiorentina’ steak and don’t forget to break open a bottle of our Chianti!

The car park
We recommend a car to fully enjoy your holiday in Rigone in Chianti. You can park safely in the car park located within the property.

Pet friendly
Pets are welcome at our farm. You can share your holiday in Tuscany with your little, four-legged friends. On the reception door, you will find bags provided for their needs. Please take the same hygiene and behavioural precautions you take at home! A small extra fee for cleaning at the end of your stay is required.

Reception
For a carefree holiday, our reception is at your disposal. Have you run into an unexpected hiccup and need a hand or would you simply like local information, train times, or help booking a restaurant or a cooking class? We’ll be happy to lend advice! Our Reception is open every day, from Monday to Saturday. We’re on hand for anything you need. Are you looking for a typical restaurant? We’ll take care of your table booking! A local excursion? You can rely on our tips to help you experience the real Tuscany. Do you already know everything and have you prepared your trip down to the last detail? Come and have a chat with us anyway, you are always welcome! Don't forget that at the reception you can find the selection of our wines as well as our ‘jewel in the crown’, our Extra Virgin Olive Oil. All produced on our farm!

Olive oil tasting
For five generations we have been producing Extra Virgin Olive Oil and it’s a real pleasure to let you try it. In the apartment you will find a tasting pack. If you want to take home the real taste of Tuscany and share it with your friends, you can buy it directly at reception.

Wine tasting
Like olive oil, wine is our forte. We’ve been producing it with the same passion for more than a century. Upon your arrival, a complimentary bottle awaits you in your apartment. If you like it, you can buy more at reception. And for raising a glass at home, remember to order a few crates before you leave.

Where to eat
In Montaione you’ll find many delightful restaurants and pizzerias, (the nearest being less than 300m away). If you want some advice, we’ll be happy to share our favourites with you. If you prefer to enjoy a Tuscan dinner at home or want a cooking class, please ask at reception.

Shopping at home
If you would like food to be provided on arrival, please send us an email. We’ll fill your fridge with local delicacies. For this service we’ll ask you for a small fee. During your stay, you can receive Tuscan products delivered to your door for breakfast, such as fresh bread and croissants. Just fill in an order at reception the day before. You can pay the bill when you check out.
