The Rigone farmstead is located in the area where Chianti wine is produced, less than 1 km from the small medieval hamlet of Montaione, one of the most beautiful hamlets in Italy, in the province of Florence.
If Tuscany is the heart of Italy, Montaione is the heart of Tuscany.
It is located in the centre of the virtual triangle that unites the cities of FLORENCE - SIENA - PISA, about 55 km away.
Close by there are medieval and Etruscan towns and cities, such as CERTALDO (15 km), SAN GIMIGNANO (18 km), SAN MINIATO (20 km) and VOLTERRA (28 km).
The Tyrrhenian coast of Tuscany is about 60 km away. Castelfalfi Golf with its beautiful 27-hole course is only 10 km away. Castelfiorentino's clay tennis courts are 8 km away.
Don't be scared! Here with us, among the rolling Tuscan hills, the concept of near and far is relative. 50 km by car fly by and you will reach your destination far too quickly when there is a breathtaking view around every bend in the road.
